The Blue Rose Cottage is located at the mouth of Netarts Bay, near Oceanside and Tillamook, Oregon, and overlooks both Netarts Bay and the Pacific Ocean. It's a spacious one-bedroom cottage on a bluff over the beach - with lots of windows and spectacular views. You can walk from the cottage directly to the ocean beach on our private path, or lounge on our deck, which overlooks the Pacific Ocean.

The area features some excellent restaurants, lots of wildlife, state parks, and many other different types of activities. Seals nest on a sand bar opposite the cottage. Pelicans and a variety of other birds are constantly in view. The area is known for Dungeness crabbing, clamming, fishing and whale watching. It's one of the closest beaches to Portland, OR (75 miles, or a 90 minute drive). Netarts is a quiet, non-touristy village, with a few hundred people. There's a laundry and a small grocery store a short walk from the cottage.

Enjoy the annual Netarts Chowder Feed (May), Tillamook County Rodeo and Dairy Parade (June), and the Tillamook County Fair (August). Visit the Tillamook County Pioneer Historical Museum, the Latimer Quilt and Textile Center, or the Tillamook Air Museum.

Local Attractions & Activities:
Crabbing, clamming, fishing, golfing, kite flying or long walks by the ocean! Don’t miss the Tillmook Cheese Factory and Cape Meares Lighthouse nearby.
