At the base of the protected Cascade Head Conservancy this home is very private yet only minutes to the many attractions of Lincoln City, Oregon.
The main living level has hardwood floors, a large great room with kitchen, dining and living room areas. The great room has a wonderful gas fireplace with a floor to ceiling rock hearth and chimney, vaulted ceilings and fabulous view windows. Dining table for 6 and the breakfast table in the very spacious kitchen will also seat 6. The kitchen is fully equipped with all you will need for your vacation dining and entertaining. Enjoy the marble counter-tops, Jenn-Air range and the beautiful views of the forest and ocean from the kitchen. Throughout the home, you'll enjoy many pieces of antique furnishings brought from the old family beach home in Delaware. Many wonderful memories grace this home and now you are invited to begin making family memories or forging new business bonds at this lovely retreat-style home.
Upstairs are three bedrooms, including a master suite with deck, reading areas and a luxurious king-size bed. The master bath is of Travertine tile, with a walk-in shower and a Jacuzzi tub with beautiful forest views. Guest rooms include one with a queen bed and one with two twins. Guest bath located near the guest bedrooms. Enjoy sitting in the rocker in the landing reading nook next to the antique pie safe. Downstairs is a very spacious Library Den. An Englander Sofa converts to a queen bed for additional guest sleeping. The wood stove in this room is a delight to cozy up to on cool evenings. Choose from several books to enjoy or watch your favorite programs on the large, flat-screen TV.
In the summer, you may use the outdoor River House heated swimming pool. You may also bring your own canoe or kayak to launch from the River House boat launch.
