Starlight Retreat is a cozy modern day cottage with coastal flair just stones throw to Tillamook Bay along the North Barview Jetty. The home has a south window view to the bay with direct walking and driving access to the North Jetty and to the beach through the Barview Jetty Campground. A day pass is required in the park and at the jetty if you intend to park and explore the area for the day. If so, a pass can be purchased onsite at the park.

The cottage offers comfort and convenience. Outdoor patio space has seating area and a BBQ for the outdoor cooking enthusiasts. 2 bedrooms, 1 bath: master has a queen bed and second room has a full bed, electric fireplace, pull through driveway for those pulling a boat.

The area is filled with fun and adventurous activities. Ride on the Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad, fish nearby Smith Lake & Lake Lytle, paddle your Kayak in the Tillamook Bay or the local lakes. Watch for Coast Guard maneuvers on the bay, local shopping and restaurants in Rock Away Beach, Garibaldi, and surrounding towns.

Crab from the Garibaldi pier or from the rocks on the North Barview Jetty; just outside your door, go clamming, explore the tide pools at The Three Graces or look for agates and seashells on the seashore. Up for a hike; try BayOcean Peninsula Park, Kilchis Point, Old Growth Big Cedar trail or Neah-Kah-Nie Mountain trails to name a few. Seek out the local museums or book a Charter fishing or crabbing trip to take you out over the bar for a day spent out on the ocean.

The house has a well stocked kitchen. We ask that you please clean all seafood outside and cook your seafood favorites on the BBQ.

The house has wireless internet including DVD’s and CD’s for entertainment for those who want to put the internet on the sidelines. Play some games or put together a puzzle to pass away a lazy afternoon.

The Barview Jetty store is within walking distance if you happen to need any last minute groceries, fishing supplies or want to take out pizza.

The house is not pet friendly of any kind, please leave pets at home or make other arrangements. There is no smoking in the house or on the premises. Guests staying more than five days or more will have access to the wash machine and dryer.
